Lilian J. Rice: How the Ghost of You Clings
San Diego, CA, July 20, 2009 --(PR.com)-- On Thursday, August 13, from 5:30-7:30 pm noted author, biographer and media personality, Diane Y. Welch, will give a presentation on master architect, Lilian J. Rice, and her incredible portfolio of work from the 1920s and 1930s.
The presentation is at the Museum of San Diego in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA 92101. As Rice's official authorized biographer Ms. Welch will showcase a DVD presentation of over 100 Rice buildings set to period music.
These photos, taken by several award winning San Diego photographers, will be featured in Ms. Welch's upcoming book, the first ever monograph written on Rice, which will release next spring.
The presentation is titled, "Lilian J. Rice: How the Ghost of You Clings"
There will be a wine reception followed by an entertaining look at Rice's life and work.
