Watkinsville, GA, July 16, 2009 --(PR.com)-- PracticalCME, a national leader in postgraduate CME-accredited medical education training is pleased to announce the addition of two new hands-on liposuction course sites. The new training sites in San Antonio (New Braunfels, TX) and Buffalo, NY offer training in tumescent liposuction and in VASER Lipo. As with PracticalCME's hands-on Liposuction training at their existing sites (San Diego, and Baltimore (Frederick, MD)) doctors get to perform the majority of the liposuction case in a small group of only 1-3 doctors per instructor.
All four of PracticalCME's hands-on liposuction sites follow the safest, evidence-based tumescent protocol and ASDS guidelines for in-office liposuction. All of their sites offer training in VASER Lipo. The Baltimore site also offers exposure to the SmartLipo laser. The San Diego site offers exposure to Power-Assisted Lipo in addition to VASER Lipo.
The prerequisite for any of PracticalCME's hands-on courses is theirIntroduction to Tumescent Liposuction classroom course taken either live or on video. This course covers all of the bases from tumescent anesthesia theory, to an unbranded discussion of technologies, to an examination of the different body areas and how they should be approached by the surgeon. Most of Practical CME's attendees take this part of the course on video at their own pace, then attend one of their convenient hands-on training days (taught on Saturdays) without missing any valuable time from their own practices.
