New Book of Magic Chronicles Author’s Transcendent Experiences

Enochian Initiation relates five years of magical experiences of its author, Frater W.I.T., who has been a student of the magical arts for more than twenty years. Within his book, readers are placed at the center of evocational rites that reveal W.I.T.’s deeply personal visions of greater realities that transcend space and time. He says that through his book, practitioners can learn to make magic “through the guidance of angels and initiate oneself into a higher state of being.”

Los Angeles, CA, August 28, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Frater W.I.T.’s passion stems from his studies of Thelemic philosophy and the practice of the Enochian system of ceremonial magic. His studies are based on teachings that began with the accomplished mathematician, astronomer, and alchemist of the Elizabethan times, John Dee, and Irish alchemist and magician Edward Kelly—teachings that were rediscovered and expanded upon by the early twentieth century magician Aleister Crowley, “The Enochian system of magick works,” W.I.T. says, “by summoning tremendous cosmic and psychic energies. In this way, psychedelic experiences can be enjoyed at will, without the use of illegal drugs.”

Fascinated by magical fantasy and science fiction stories throughout his childhood, Frater W.I.T. has spent more than twenty years studying and practicing western occult traditions and methods of attainment. “Desire to take my training and experiences further than what had been revealed to me by the schools of the instituted mysteries,” W.I.T. said, “impelled me to form various magical workshops with my colleagues on my own. Enochian magick was by far the most powerful method I’ve ever used, for both individual and group practice.”

Frater W.I.T. is an initiate of magical schools inspired by both the Masonic and Rosicrucian traditions. The purpose of his life, he says, is to develop new methods of ceremonial magick and explore new vistas of psychic and spiritual potential. He has stated that he will be publishing other books detailing his experiences and metaphysical thought in the future.
