Trinity Academy of Raleigh Among Largest Triangle Nonpublic Schools
Raleigh, NC, July 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Robert Littlejohn, head of school at Trinity Academy of Raleigh (www.trinityacademy.com), a preK-12 college preparatory school community located in North Raleigh, has announced that the academy has been named among the top 25 nonpublic schools in the Triangle. Rankings, which were based on 2009-2010 enrollment, listed Trinity as having 300 students enrolled, up from 278 in the 2008-2009 school year, and a 44 to 12 faculty to staff ratio.
Trinity was founded in 1995 by Dr. Robert Littlejohn, who remains the head of school. The academy focuses on educating the whole person, with its strong emphasis on the classical liberal arts and sciences, sports, the fine arts, and spiritual formation. The top one-third of Trinity's 2008 graduating class averaged more than $101,000 per student in merit-based scholarships from various colleges and universities.
