Intertek Announces New White Paper: Eco-Design Directive (EuP): Analysis of the Implementing Measures - Non-Directional Household Lamps and Street & Office Lighting
New publication outlines requirements of the EuP Lighting Implementing Measures (IMs), including products affected and deadlines for implementation

On March 24th the European Union (EU) commission adopted the implementing measures for non-directional household lamps and street & office lighting. According to the regulation for non-directional household lamps, all incandescent lamps will be phased out from the EU market starting September 1st, 2009. The first stage's requirement for street & office lighting is April 13th, 2010. The white paper covers:
