Myrtle Beach, SC, July 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Lennar’s Sealed Bid Auction event is back by popular demand. The event, which takes place on July 30th at all Lennar communities in Conway and Myrtle Beach runs through August 1st at 6pm and will allow buyers to name their future home’s price.
“There was such a tremendous response from homebuyers at the first Sealed Bid Auction event held in May that we had to offer the opportunity again,” said Susan Martin, Director of Sales for Lennar’s Coastal Carolina Division.
The Sealed Bid Auction event applies to select immediate occupancy homes in the participating communities of Clear Pond at Myrtle Beach National, Emmens Preserve and Brighton Woods in Myrtle Beach and, Glenmoor and Fairways at Wild Wing located in Conway.
According to Martin, the popularity of the auction is in the sealed bid format.
“The sealed bid allows buyers the opportunity to place an offer at their comfort level. This event facilitates a setting for prospective buyers to view our homes, assess the value of the community and place a bid that they are comfortable with,” Martin said.
“Our weekend auction event is the perfect time to buy a new home. In addition to incredible prices we are also giving up to $5,000 in closing costs for those who purchase during this event,” Martin said.
Interested buyers are invited to submit their sealed bid forms in person at participating Lennar Welcome Home Centers from July 30th through August 1st at 6pm. All prospective homebuyers will be notified on the status of their bid by 6 p.m. Sunday evening.
Winning bids must meet the reserve amount pre-determined by the seller. Buyers must pre-qualify with Lennar’s preferred lender, Universal American Mortgage Company and be able to purchase the home they are bidding on without having to sell another home first.
