Champion-Arrowhead LLC Converts All Products to "Lead Free" in Preparation for New Laws
Los Angeles, CA, July 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Champion-Arrowhead LLC is proud to announce that it has converted all of its products to “lead-free.” New products will be available to order starting September 1, 2009. All products will be available in “lead-free” by adding a “LF” to the end of the company’s current part numbers. This includes a line of “lead-free” ball valves, gate valves and check valves, in addition to converting all of its existing products.
“We aren’t going to wait for the rest of the country to follow California and Vermont’s lead. Distributors and retail customers should not have to carry two sets of products: “leaded” and “lead free.” This is an expense they don’t need in these current economic conditions. More importantly, the risk and high cost of litigation—especially in California—is too great when dealing with products that come in contact with drinking water.
