The site, which offers Just Imagine's original blends of handrafted soap, hopes to kick off a successful campaign by offering site membership and purchase incentives throughout the month of July.
Based in Naples, Florida, the company was started as a part-time home-based business in September of 2007 by owners Lisa Wilkinson and Martha Saenz. "We wanted to reate products that were not only beauitful, but were fabulous for your skin," said Wilkinson. We allowed ourselves to "Just Imagine" what we could do--and we did it."
With lines sporting names like "Tropical Pleasures," Wine Lovers," and "Sunny Orchards," and ingredients ranging from glycerin to goat's milk, Just Imagine offers a little something for everyone, including the quirky sayings and inspirational quotes on the inside of its soap labels. "We want to make our customers feel great from the get-go," said Saenz about the labels. "It's just part of what makes us unique."
The women, who originally launched the company doing home parties, are grateful to have the opportunity to unveil the website. "It hasn't all been sunshine and rainbows," Wilkinson added. "Just as we began to develop a local presence, the bottom dropped out of the economy. With so many long-established companies disappearing, we're thankful to still be alive and kicking!"
Wilkinson and Saenz believe that a website presence will enable them to continue to offer their products not only locally, but nationally as well. In addition to the handcrafted soaps and bath accessories offered for sale on their retail website, the site boasts a section where merchants can purchase items for resale, including companion products such as lotions, body mists, body whips, and air & linen sprays.
"We're hoping that customers will enjoy the website experience and the beautiful products we offer," said Wilkinson. "Unless customers know exactly what their looking for, trying to find a website nowadays is like trying to find an oasis in the Gobi desert.
