Falls Village Golf Club Names Head Golf Professional

Durham, NC, July 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Marc Reynolds, general manager of Falls Village Golf Club (www.fallsvillagegolf.com), has announced that R. Derek Anderson has joined the golf club as head golf professional. With more than 28 years of experience in the golf industry, Anderson began his career at East Ridge Country Club in Shreveport, La. where he served as an assistant golf professional. Prior to joining Falls Village Golf Club, he was an assistant golf professional at Wake Forest Country Club in Wake Forest, N.C. and the head Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA) golf professional at Cheviot Hills Golf Club in Raleigh, N.C. A PGA member since 1988, Anderson earned his Bachelor’s of Science in business administration with a concentration in management from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La. He resides in Wake Forest, N.C. with his wife.
