The Price is Right at Lennar’s New Home Auction Event
Lennar’s Sealed Bid Auction event is back by popular demand.
Charleston, SC, July 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Lennar’s “Sealed Bid Auction” event is back by popular demand. The event, which takes place on July 30th at Tranquil Hill in Ladson runs through 6 p.m. on August 1st and will allow buyers to name their future home’s price.
According to Ann Ivey, Director of Sales for Lennar’s Coastal Carolina Division, this event is a sealed bid auction.
“The sealed bid format allows buyers the opportunity to place a bid at their comfort level. This event facilitates a setting for prospective buyers to view our homes, assess the value of the community and place a bid that they are comfortable with,” Ivey said.
“Our weekend auction event is the perfect time to buy a new home,” said Ivey. “In addition to incredible prices we are also giving up to $5,000 in closing costs for those who purchase during this event.”
Interested buyers are invited to submit their sealed bid forms in person from July 30th through August 1st at 6 p.m. All prospective homebuyers will be notified on the status of their bid by 6 p.m. Sunday evening.
According to Ivey, winning bids must meet the reserve amount pre-determined by the seller. Buyers must pre-qualify with Lennar’s preferred lender, Universal American Mortgage Company and must be able to purchase the home they are bidding on without having to sell another home first.
The Sealed Bid Auction event applies to select immediate occupancy homes at Tranquil Hill in Ladson.
Tranquil Hill showcases homes that range in size from 2,466 to 2,617 square feet and priced from the mid $100s. The community is located near major transportation thoroughfares and the Charleston Air Force Base.
