Andy Pratt - Live Now Available Worldwide

Phoenixville, PA, July 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- After releasing more than 20 studio albums and being praised by Rolling Stone magazine’s Stephen Holden saying, “Andy Pratt has forever changed the face of rock,” this legendary musician and songwriter has just released the long awaited CD, Andy Pratt – Live at The Village Underground. The accompanying DVD is slated to be released this fall. This will be the very first time Pratt fans will be able to own live Andy Pratt performances on video.

The disc is a collection of 20 songs recorded live in New York City on March 11, 2003, which marked his first show back in New York after 23 years. It also marked the reunion of Andy and members of his 70s band, Mark Doyle on guitar and Gary Link on bass. The band also features Sal Baglio on guitar and Tom Hambridge on drums.

The CD opens with the upbeat "If You Could See Yourself (Through My Eyes)" and takes fans through highlights of Pratt's catalog including classics like "Rainbow", "Constant Heat", "Treasure That Canary", "Karen's Song", "Call Up That Old Friend", and "So Faint" while introducing newer songs from his recent releases like "I'm Alright". Of course, the Pratt standards "All I Want is You" and "Avenging Annie", end this very rockin’ set.

In addition to these classic Pratt tunes, fans are treated to this inspired musician's uncanny interpretation of the Stones' "19th Nervous Breakdown".

Formerly signed to Columbia Records and later Nemperor/Atlantic Records, Pratt has played to audiences all over the world, and now fans can finally enjoy music from this very special New York gig. Currently a best-selling artist on ItsAboutMusic.com, Pratt's music can be purchased online in all formats:
