Acua Awarded Matrix Standard
Coventry, United Kingdom, July 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Just 12 months after launching, Acua Limited has been accredited with a nationally recognised quality mark.
The company, which is a trading subsidiary of Coventry University, has been awarded Matrix Standard for organisations which provide support to individuals to make learning and work more accessible.
The management training experts wanted to ensure all of its clients were receiving the best information, advice and guidance possible so went through a rigorous assessment process to earn the standard.
Being awarded the sort-after accreditation means Acua - based at the Innovation Centre on Cheetah Road - will now be able to bid for contracts from the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) and other leading government organisations.
Acua managing director Larraine Boorman said: “Every aspect of our business was assessed in great detail so it is excellent we have earned Matrix Standard status.
“Assessors spent three days watching how we work and spoke to clients who have taken advantage of our courses so it is great they have recognised what impact we have already had on business and organisations.
“Securing Matrix accreditation is reward for all the hard work theteam has put in over the last year and will help us to continue our rapid growth even further.”
David Morgan, of ENTO - the company responsible for maintaining and promoting the Matrix Standard on behalf of the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS) - added: “This Matrix accreditation is another example of how the Matrix Standard is proving effective for all types of organisations, helping them to provide a more professional service offering and to strive to be the best in their sector.”
Since being established last year Acua has grown quickly from being a pioneering University Employer Engagement Project (EEP) into a limited company providing a range of business development and capability improvement programmes. Its clients include The AA, Caterpillar, Severn Trent and NHS Trusts in Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull.
