HotshoeFactor.com is the first website to provide a clean, efficient, and easy-to-use access to SCCA Solo and other autocross results. It is no longer necessary to scroll through endless text files to find a given result. A few mouse clicks will bring up the desired results and graphical event statistics. The website also offers driver rankings.
Bellaire, TX, July 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- HotshoeFactor.com is the first website to provide a clean, efficient, and easy-to-use interface to SCCA Solo and other autocross results. Currently results from SCCA National Tour events and the National Championships are available. HotshoeFactor.com also hosts results for several SCCA regions.
The site has two main sections:
Results - Hotshoefactor.com is a searchable and sortable repository of autocross results and various statistics derived from them. Much of the data is available in graphical form and it is easy to narrow results down to specific classes or drivers.
Driver Ranks - HotshoeFactor.com ranks drivers on their average performance for the whole season. This ranking rewards consistently fast drivers and as such it measures a slightly different skill set than what is necessary to win an autocross event where a single fast run will do the job. The rankings add a new way of evaluating each driver's performance. Nevertheless, the same people who win events tend to show up at the top of the rankings.
