Aerial M. Ellis Named Among Nashville's Top 30 Under 30

Nashville, TN, July 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Aerial M. Ellis has been named one of Nashville's Top 30 Under 30 by The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF).

Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30 is an event that recognizes the city’s young professionals and philanthropists by honoring men and women across the Mid-State who exemplify leadership qualities, are active in volunteer roles, and have excelled in the Nashville business community.

The inaugural event is designed to spotlight Middle TN’s most influential trendsetters, honoring their professional and charitable accomplishments while at the same time benefiting the CFF.

A native of Memphis, Ellis received a bachelor's degree from Tennessee State University and master's degree from Middle Tennessee State University, both in mass communications.

Ellis has worked in variety of capacities in media and entertainment. She is owner of Urbane Imagery, a public relations consultancy that provides tailored marketing and media relations strategies to entrepreneurs, small businesses and non-profit organizations. Previously, she worked in promotions and marketing at Cumulus Media (Nashville, TN and Athens, AL). In 2005, she served as Operations Manager for WTST, Tennessee State University Campus Radio and led the station to win the Black College Radio Station of the Year Award. She later returned to serve in the university's Office of Media Relations.

She is a board member of the Urban League Young Professionals of Middle Tennessee and the Miss Black Tennessee Scholarship Organization. Her civic and professional involvement includes Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Entertainment Publicists Professional Society and National Association of Black Journalists among others. She attends the Church of Christ at Jackson Street and volunteers regularly in the Nashville community.
