PRSourceCode Names Dodge Communications "Top Tech Communicator" for Second Straight Year
IT and business journalists recognize the healthcare PR firm, vice president through annual survey.
Atlanta, GA, July 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Dodge Communications, a leading PR and marketing agency specializing in healthcare, today announced that the agency was named the number one small agency in PRSourceCode’s fourth annual “Top Tech Communicators” survey. This marks the second consecutive year that Dodge has been ranked number one in the survey. In addition, Dodge Communications’ vice president Brian Parrish was recognized as one of the “Top Tech PR Pros” for the third straight year.
PRSourceCode derives the annual rankings from an online survey of journalists from more than 300 IT and business publications, including CIO, Healthcare Informatics and Healthcare Finance News. The survey asked members of various editorial staffs to rank PR agencies, corporate PR departments and individual PR practitioners based on the value the agency or practitioner delivers to the editorial process in terms of responsiveness, reliability and overall recognition of editorial needs. The full findings of the study can be found on PRSourceCode’s Web site.
“We are honored to be recognized as the top agency in the technology communications field for the second time, especially since editors and journalists vote on the companies they feel contribute the most to their work,” said Brad Dodge, president and CEO of Dodge Communications. “We have always focused on media relations and we pride ourselves on our ability to efficiently work with members of the media.”
The list of top public relations practitioners was started in 2007 and Parrish is one of only three PR professionals to be named to the list all three years. He is a veteran of the technology industry and has worked with Dodge Communications since the company was founded in 2001. As a vice president, he provides strategic counsel to national and international clients, including brand and messaging development and the implementation of marketing and public relations programs. In 2008, Parrish secured more than 250 premium editorial placements for his clients in a variety of technology-focused publications.
“To receive this recognition from the journalists in our space is very special,” Parrish said. “It is truly an honor to work with them on a daily basis and I remain committed to meeting their evolving editorial needs.”
