Mark Cates to Discuss Recruiting Systems Technology
Raleigh, NC, July 26, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Career Transformations has announced that Mark Cates, a research and development director of information technology, will be the speaker at the group’s next meeting on Wednesday, July 29 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. in the fellowship hall of Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church, located at 7506 Falls of Neuse Road. Cates will discuss “Everything You Need to Know About Recruiting Systems Technology to Land a Job, But Didn’t Know to Ask.” He will focus on how Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies often use complex Internet software-based recruiting systems to handle recruiting and hiring. In his presentation, Cates will describe how Internet recruiting systems work so that the job seeker can optimize their job search to be invited for an interview. Topics covered will include Internet job postings, optimal use of company career sites, and job search engines, and how to get to the top of the candidate pool by using referrals. Cates with also highlight job boards, resume parsing and LinkedIn.
