Carson Toyota Announces Participation in Cash for Clunkers Car Allowance Rebate System

Carson, CA, July 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Receive Up To $4,500, Plus Dealer Incentives, Toward A New Toyota Or Scion.

Carson Toyota is inviting all Southern California residents to take advantage of the new Car Allowance Rebate System and turn in their current less fuel-efficient clunker for a more fuel-efficient vehicle.

Choose among 17 qualifying Toyota cars, trucks, SUVs and hybrid models or from Scions full lineup of vehicles. If the new Toyota or Scion has a combined fuel-economy that is at least four, but less than 10 miles per gallon higher than the traded-in vehicle, the credit rebate will be $3,500. If the new vehicle has a combined fuel-economy of 10 miles per gallon or higher, then the credit rebate will be $4,500.

To be eligible for a rebate, vehicles being traded in must be less than 25 years old on the trade-in date, get 18 or less miles per gallon and have been insured continuously for the full year proceeding the trade in.
