Denver Wellness Center Funds Non-Profits with Donation Based Wellness Treatments
Denver, CO, July 26, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Botanica Wellness Sanctuary, Denver’s premiere wellness center, is giving back to the Denver Community with their first annual “Project Share Hope.” For the entire week of August 10th-14th, Botanica will be providing all wellness services to the public for donations that will then be given to each client’s choice of several Colorado non-profit organizations.
“We’re excited about this project for a multitude of reasons,” says Botanica Wellness Sanctuary Owner and Acupuncturist Debra Kuhn. “These are tough economic times, and we want to make sure that everyone who needs and/or wants to experience the benefits of alternative health care can. We want to let everyone contribute what they can financially and know that they are benefitting their own community with that contribution.”
The alternative healing therapies offered at Botanica are well-known for their stress-relieving, immune-boosting and overall wellness enhancing qualities. Safe, non-invasive and effective, alternative therapies work well alone and alongside conventional health care. “We hope to educate as many people as possible on how small changes in daily habits combined with wellness enhancing therapies can improve overall health immediately as well as reduce the risk of several preventable diseases so common in our society,” says Kuhn.
Colorado-based non-profit organizations that will receive donations from the project range from those benefitting children with cancer to abused and homeless women and children. The minimum suggested donation is $20 per service. The center will keep a nominal percentage of each donation to cover their expenses.
Botanica Wellness Sanctuary’s list of service includes: Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, Chiropractic, Naturopathic Medicine, Psychotherapy and Counseling, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Reiki, Reflexology, and Nutritional Counseling. Clients may receive one of each treatment and try as many different treatments as they’d like. The center will also be offering group meditation/stress reduction sessions. Availability will be limited, so the center advises to book appointments early.
