A Healthy Green Home Debuts New Product Line Made of Recycled Materials

A Healthy Green Home™ introduces a new product line created from recycled juice boxes and rice sacks – an endeavor that keeps solid waste out of the landfill, and helps create green-collar jobs. A portion of all sales benefits the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Los Angeles, CA, July 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- A Healthy Green Home™ has teamed with two co-operatives in the Philippines to create a new collection of beautiful, functional bags made entirely out of recycled materials. The recycled bags are now available for purchase at the company’s website: www.ahealthygreenhome.com.

The project is an exciting endeavor for A Healthy Green Home™. Not only do the sales of the bags help provide income and green jobs to unemployed workers in the Philippines, but they also succeed in keeping solid waste out of the local landfills.

Danger Management & Media — the in-house product development team at A Healthy Green Home™ — is dedicated to fusing great form with great products. The team worked with both Alejandro and Editha Santiago’s sustainable women’s co-op, and Rebecca Molina and her sister’s co-op to design and create the handcrafted bags in order to bring exclusive “product with a purpose” to North America. In honor of Ray Molina, Rebecca’s husband, a portion of the proceeds from all sales of these bags goes to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

A Healthy Green Home™ is a multi-platform licensing and entertainment portal dedicated to the design and manufacture of accessible and affordable green products. Form and function go hand in hand. By combining the technical knowledge of top product designers and manufacturers, they ensure that their customers are purchasing quality products that are value oriented and environmentally friendly. You don’t need a healthy green wallet to shop at A Healthy Green Home™.

A Healthy Green Home™ is not just about our homes, but about our entire environment — how we live, how we work, how we travel, and how we can all lead healthier, greener lives. At the end of the day, our home is our planet, and we all have a common interest in preserving our home.
