Team Zoum Green Fleet Member Shawn Harvey Wins Gold at 2009 USODA Optimist National Championships

Los Angeles, CA, July 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- ZoumUSA team member Shawn Harvey of Coconut Grove, Florida and Coral Reef Yacht Club (“CRYC”) blew away the Green Fleet competition this week with 6 bullets at the 2009 US optimist National Championships. The regatta was hosted by Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club (“CBYC”) in San Pedro, California.

Shawn said “all my friends cheered me as I crossed the finish line.”

Shawn has climbed the ranks steadily since getting his Zoum Racer at Christmas. He brought it to the Nationals here and earned his first ever bullet. We congratulate Shawn and look forward to his continued success.
