Al Tervalon Will Reach His Personal and Professional Goals Through His Newly Acquired ActionCOACH Franchise
ActionCOACH presents Al Tervalon with the opportunity to utilize his love for teaching to create positive change within his community.
Las Vegas, NV, July 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- For Al Tervalon, Brad Sugars’ ActionCOACH business coaching franchise offers an opportunity to combine his passion with his vision.
“The opportunity to merge my love of teaching with a proven business system to create positive change in my local community was too good to pass up,” he said. “I like helping people work more effectively, achieve more, and enjoy a balanced lifestyle.”
Tervalon was also tired of the limitations to his success and performance in a corporate setting and decided to make the switch to business ownership.
“I want to be able to work in a manner consistent with my values regarding people and relationships as well as business performance,” he said. “For better or worse, I can plan the work and work the plan to achieve my own objectives, rather than achieve success for an unappreciative corporation.”
When he first came into contact with the organization, Tervalon was impressed by the systems established by founder and CEO Brad Sugars in 1993.
“The entire operation is well-structured for training and supporting coaches as well as achieving performance objectives for clients,” he said. “I was, and continue to be impressed, by the worldwide scale; depth and level of organization of the entire business system.”
Tervalon was named an ActionCOACH by Master Licensees Jeff Weston and Peter Williamson .He lives in Morgan Hill, California, and will initially be practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area of northern California.
Prior to acquiring his ActionCOACH franchise, Tervalon enjoyed a technical career in product/process development, systems integration, quality management and program management.
In his previous career, Tervalon was instrumental in bringing a medical device manufacturer to successful ISO 9001 compliance within six months. In another role, he was responsible for improving customer relationships by exceeding expectations for delivery of products and services.
“I also helped build systems to improve the organizational performance of companies by eliminating wasteful activities and making the core processes more efficient,” he said.
Innovation, creativity, thinking outside-the-box, and the judicious application of appropriate technical and organizational systems are all hallmarks of Tervalon’s unique approach to finding ideal solutions to complex problems. As a certified instructor in Train-the-Trainer techniques, he can not only develop new processes and techniques but also ensure they are properly implemented for long-term success.
A member of the Parent Organization at his children's school, Tervalon is also an athletic coach for children.
