Florence Community Healthcare, a 65-bed full-service community hospital located at 450 West Adamsville Road in Florence Arizona, will open its doors to the public late Fall of 2009. Renovation of the former Pinal General Hospital is underway and on target to meet the late Fall Grand Opening deadline. Florence Community Healthcare will be a world-class hospital, close to home. Florence, AZ, July 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Florence Community Healthcare, a 65-bed full-service community hospital located at 450 West Adamsville Road in Florence Arizona, will open its doors to the public late Fall of 2009. Renovation of the former Pinal General Hospital is underway and on target to meet the late Fall Grand Opening deadline.

It will feature state-of-the-art technology as well as superior patient care. “One of our top priorities is to provide patients with an exceptional experience, in a caring and safe environment,” said Edward McEachern, MD and CEO of parent company, Initiatives Healthcare, Inc. “We also recognize the central role healthcare plays in a community and look forward to being a strong partner in creating a healthier community. At the time of completion in late Fall, it is anticipated that over 200 permanent positions will be created. “This will enhance the local and regional economy as well as provide a variety of employment opportunities. - In 2007, Initiatives Healthcare, Inc. (IHI) acquired the former Pinal General Hospital. Renovation and construction began in May of 2009. Completion date set for late Fall 2009. Initiatives Healthcare, Inc the parent company of Florence Community Healthcare (FCHC) is based on Boise, Idaho, with offices in Chicago, Salt Lake City, and London. Founded in 1997, IHI is a hospital management company whose purpose is to provide superior patient focused healthcare. IHI is known for founding and building state-of the-art-facilities, including the University of Utah’s Orthopaedic Center, the University of Missouri’s Missouri Orthopaedic Institute as well as others.
