Children's Illustrator Showcases Her Children's Art by Opening Dream Out Loud! Design Studio
After thirty-plus years of the nine to five grind, artist Cheryl Lynn opens Dream Out Loud! Design Studio, a company specializing in Children's Art and Illustration.
Warren, MI, August 01, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Artist Cheryl Lynn has been writing and drawing since the tender age of eight, but like many artists, never viewed her art as being more than a hobby. Now, at the age of 50, the artist has launched her own business called Dream Out Loud! Design Studio, which specializes in children's art and book illustration. The company also design's logos and creates promotional art for businesses.
A largely self-taught artist, Cheryl Lynn studied briefly at Wayne State University, and Marygrove College in Detroit. "I've always loved children's art, as well as art created by children. I started collecting children's books some years ago, and one day I decided to create my own. I sat on this idea for years after writing my first story, but now, I feel it is time for me to act on my creative dreams."
Cheryl Lynn has a long history of involvement in her local art community. Her large-scale abstract and figurative paintings have been featured in numerous local and national art shows and her poetry has been published in various anthologies. Now, with this new artistic endeavor, the children's illustrator believes that she has come full circle and has finally found a way to combine her writing and drawing skills in order to create a quality and endearing product.
"Dream Out Loud! Design Studio, for me, is self explanatory," says the artist. "After years of tradition and routine, I am now a product of a dwindling job market. I can honestly say that, like so many others, this economy has forced my hand and caused me to take control of my own career and financial destiny. Children's illustration and art is my chosen solution to being at the mercy of an unpredictable economy."
