"Gala Electronica" Dances Its Way to Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA, August 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Gala Electronica, the San Francisco-based dance show, brings its hit performance to Los Angeles for a two-night only extravaganza at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood on September 25th and 26th. Gala Electronica unites classic dance styles with electronic music to take you on a journey through Love, Introspection and Hope.

Gala Electronica is directed by 30 year dance veteran Tom Slater, World Exhibition Champion and West Coast Swing National Showtime Champion. The show stars Vaidotas Skimelis and Jurga Pupelyte, 4th place finishers in Latin in the 2008 United States National Dance Championships; David Weise, 2nd place finisher in Ballroom in the 2006 US National Dance Championships and dance coach for the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Team; Tytus Bergstrom, former U.S Latin Dance Champion; LiWen Ang, star of the WE hit TVshow “Dirty Dancing: Living the Dream”; modern dancer Tianne Frias, formerly of nationally renowned Robert Moses’ Kin Dance Company, and many more talented performers.

Gala Electronica performances will take place at the historic El Portal Theatre located at 5269 Lankershim in North Hollywood on September 25th and 26th at 8pm. Tickets are available online at the Gala Electronica website for $25 or $35 at the door.
