The Johnson School at Cornell University and Ivy Exec’s Partnership Show Positive Results
Cornell’s Johnson School of Business was one of the early participants in the Ivy Exec MBA Partnership Program. Given the current economic climate, the program has been designed to assist top business schools in their efforts to provide the right career resources and present job opportunities for their graduating MBA classes as well as alumni of the schools.
new York City, NY, August 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- In early May, Ivy Exec approached The Johnson School with the intention of extending a unique donation of services to their students and alumni. The timing of the Partnership Program couldn’t have been better. With over 600 students and alumni already taking advantage of these services, the results have been overwhelmingly positive.
“Cornell has been extremely supportive of their students and they have welcomed our initiatives with enthusiasm. It is because of the support of progressive career centers like The Johnson School’s that Ivy Exec is able to connect leading companies with recent MBA graduates and alumni. Ivy Exec has recently reported that a Johnson School Alumna was hired by a leading technology firm in the Boston area.” said Alex Baranpuria, Vice President of Business Development with Ivy Exec.
Elena Bajic founded Ivy Exec fresh out of business school after she noticed a need for online tools and services that would cater to top tier professionals. “Even in a good economy, when you come out of the MBA program with a job offer, it is important to keep an eye out on the job market; not only for your industry but also across different industries and geographic locations. While I was in school, there were no online sources that provided truly hand picked, pre-screened opportunities and relevant information at the same time. At Ivy Exec we are filling this need”, she said.
Ivy Exec is currently expanding the Partnership Program across the country and has also been approached by International Institutions.
