Community Workforce Solutions Announces Expanded Mobile Work Crew Availability
Community Workforce Solutions, Inc. announced today that their mobile work crew is available to partner with community businesses and organizations for clean-up and maintenance services.
Raleigh, NC, August 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Community Workforce Solutions, Inc. (www.communityworkforcesolutions.com) announced today that their mobile work crew is available to partner with community businesses and organizations for clean-up and maintenance services. The crew, comprised of individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment, provides leaf blowing, trash and debris clean up, emptying of garbage cans and post-storm cleaning services.
Community Workforce Solutions assumed responsibility for the mobile work crew in 2002 and have managed it throughout a contract with a local government agency. Due to recent budgetary concerns, the crew has been displaced. The six-person crew is available for work for 15 hours per week, typically structured as three hours a day, five days per week.
“This particular population provides high-quality services but has limited employment options. There is a definite need for continued services for this population since the work they perform not only provides a service to the community but also fosters a sense of identity and fulfillment for each individual taking part in the program,” said Roger McGee, Community Workforce Solutions’ Executive Director. “We are reaching out to the community to help us fill the void that funding cuts have created. We welcome inquiries about how the crew can meet business needs.”
