Kulae Yoga Supports Our Troops in Iraq

Norwell, MA, August 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Yoga For Vets is pleased to announce a recent shipment and receipt of Kulae yoga mats to a FOB (Forward Operation Base) in Kirkuk, Iraq. In early July, Kulae, a company that sells earth friendly yoga products donated 24 new yoga mats after Yoga For Vets received a request for mats. The request, from a United States Soldier in Iraq was teaching yoga to off-duty soldiers but needed mats. When Paul Zipes, Director of Yoga For Vets contacted Kulae, they immediately and enthusiastically offered to help. Yoga For Vets is a website based organization that lists studios, gyms and teachers who agreed to offer 4 free yoga classes to any United States Veteran that served in any current or previous war or conflict. Sending mats to Iraq is not the main mission of Yoga For Vets but we are ready to serve our troops in any yoga related capacity that we can. Working with a near zero operational budget, Yoga For Vets continues to grow thanks to yoga businesses and volunteers. Their website www.yogaforvets.org currently has over 100 listings for free yoga classes.
