Foreclosure Response Team Launches Global Buyers Group with Canada Debut

Fort Lauderdale, FL, August 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Scott D. Coloney, President of the Foreclosure Response Team, has announced the formation of the “Global Buyers Group.” Introduced in Toronto, Canada this July, the Global Buyers Group has been created to establish a network of financially-sound investors who are interested purchasing devalued real estate across the United States, particularly in the state of Florida. A national Realtor network with advanced short sale technology, training and loss mitigation services, the Foreclosure Response Team expedites the sale of residential and commercial properties facing foreclosure, with a specialization in Short Sale transactions. The company plans to tour key international markets including Canada, England, German and Russia, as well as South and Central America to present the opportunity to prospects. Leading the buyer-broker relations for the Global Buyers Group is George Coloney of Fort Lauderdale-based The Coloney Group of RE/MAX whose firm is a Realtor Affiliate of the Foreclosure Response Team.

Through an ongoing series of educational seminars, the Foreclosure Response Team will assist buyers in making smart real estate investments while also helping distressed homeowners avoid foreclosure, ultimately improving the state of the real estate market. Discussion topics will focus on Florida as a “buyers market,” and Florida real estate, with emphasis on how it relates to short sales and foreclosures.

“We started the Global Buyers Group in response to a market that has shrunk, and because of the fact that a lot of the buyers who purchased over the last three to four years, are now unable to buy real estate. Due to the pool of buyers decreasing in the U.S., we quickly realized the need to tap into a larger group of buyers and began to develop a Global Buyers Group. The Foreclosure Response Team will provide valuable information to international investors and buyers, while bringing new capital into U.S. markets, said Scott Coloney. “In addition, because our business is web based, we have the opportunity to conduct business anywhere in the world, making it convenient for both the buyer and the Realtor,” he added.

George Coloney said of the Canada debut, which attracted a combined 150 buyers for the seminar held at the Hilton Garden Inn located in Mississauga, “It was quite an experience because the people in attendance had such phenomenal questions about inheritance taxes, property taxes and financing sources, and were interested in a full spectrum of cities throughout the state of Florida.”

“We also received an overwhelming response and immediate interest from the Realtor community about the Foreclosure Response Team’s network of Realtors across the U.S. who can provide them with information about properties that would be best suited for their clientele,” he added.

According to George Coloney, the strategy for Canadian investor purchases is segmented into different buyers groups: first, those who are interested in using the property two to three months out of the year while having Coloney Property Management (CPM) rent out and manage the property; second, persons 5 to10 years away from retirement who wish to buy now because of the market prices, then rent the properties out on an annualized basis; third, Canadians who wish to buy a property now which they would later pass on to their children.

“When I learned about the seminar that George Coloney was holding in Toronto about Florida real estate, I was fortunate enough to schedule a personal sit down with him to learn more about purchasing opportunities in the United States. Being able to discuss my investments options one-on-one established a trust factor that is required for anyone who is choosing their next lifestyle location. This type of personal attention separates Foreclosure Response Team from other companies who claim to offer the same service,” said Brooke Schneider, Real Estate Investor.

The Foreclosure Response Team headquarters are located at 600 South Andrews Ave., Suite 300, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33301. For more information call Scott D. Coloney at 954-760-4888 or visit www.ForeclosureResponseTeam.com
