TruTac Announce Philip R Jordan as New Commercial Director
Coventry, United Kingdom, August 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- TruTac, the tachograph and transport software specialist has appointed Philip R. Jordan as its new Commercial Director from 3rd August. Jordan brings a wealth of experience and is well known within the industry. Jordan will be joining Terry Ramsey, who was appointed as the new TruTac Managing Director in June.

Jordan’s appointment ties in with TruTac’s new product releases, which have been designed to enable transport companies to meet current and future operational challenges. Their digital driver card based Time and Attendance System, has just been released and a new Fleet Management System will be released in September. Jordan states “this is an exciting time for TruTac and I am delighted to be a part of a dynamic company with such innovative products and a clear strategic plan.”
Jordan has a long track record in the UK logistics industry, including 9 years as Managing Director for Tachodisc and as a specialist Consultant to the FTA, assisting them in developing digital tachograph solutions. During his career Jordan has held various other Executive and Non-Executive positions, including owning his own Consultancy Company.
Jordan’s interests include writing and he was commissioned by the Suttons Transport family to write their history and has written two further novels. His other passions include travel, photography, sailing and skiing. He is married with two grown up sons and lives in Cheshire.
