Michigan Classic Ballet Company "Moonlight & Diamond Dreams Gala" 20th Anniversary Celebration

Bloomfield Hills, MI, August 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- On Saturday, August 8, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to Midnight at the Radisson Kingsley Hotel Grand Ballroom the Michigan Classic Ballet Company (MCBC) invites you to an evening of Moonlight & Diamond Dreams. The benefit event celebrates 20 years of bringing exceptional ballet productions to the Detroit Metropolitan Area. All of the proceeds from the gala will benefit MCBC’s Educational Outreach Program which continues to influence, energize and transform young lives. Over the last three years MCBC’s Educational Outreach Program has provided lectures, demonstrations and special performances to underserved area children.

WDIV Emmy award winning news anchor Ruth Spencer will be the Master of Ceremonies. There will be a meet and greet reception featuring special guests Kym L. Worthy, Wayne County Prosecutor, Kirsten Haglund, Miss America 2008 and Olga Pavlova, former Bolshoi ballerina and current Principal dancer with Metropolitan Classical Ballet. The internationally acclaimed Mosaic Singers of the Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit will give a special performance for the celebration.

An elegant silent auction, dinner, music and dancing will take place in the Grand Ballroom of the Radisson Kingsley Hotel.

Children 12 years and up are welcome to attend with an adult and attire is Black Tie optional. Tickets may be purchased for $75 per person.
