PTI Securities Announces Protected Index Program Seminar

Chicago, IL, August 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- While the stock market lost 38% last year, investors didn’t have to lose that much money. They could have had the risk in their portfolio tailored to match their own personal profile, and not accepted full-market risk.

PTI Securities & Futures L.P., a Chicago-based money management and securities firm, will explain this when it holds a “Protected Index Program® Seminar” on Saturday, August 29 from 9:00 am to noon. The complimentary seminar will be held at PTI Securities & Futures’ office at 411 South Wells St., Suite 900, Chicago.

The seminar will introduce investors to PTI’s Protected Index Program, a separately managed (SMA) account that the Wall Street Journal (March 11, 2009) has recognized as one of the nation’s “top SMA performers.” Daniel Haugh, President of PTI, also discussed the importance of portfolio protection in his article “Diversification Is Not Enough” in SFO Magazine (June issue). The event is targeted to serious investors and fund managers looking for long-term market participation with less market risk, and customized portfolio or fund management.

Registration is required and seating is limited. To learn more or to register: visit the PTI website at: http://www.ptisecurities.com/Education.htm or call PTI Securities toll-free at 1-800-821-4968.
