Charlotte, NC, August 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Frank Brooks, AIA, ACHA, chairman and managing partner at FreemanWhite (www.freemanwhite.com), an architectural, engineering, interior design and consulting services firm for healthcare organizations in the United States, has announced that several members of the firm’s office staff have been certified as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professionals (AP) by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Certified members include James Belvin, Amelia Cornwell, Monica Gannotta, Korla Kudjiku, Craig Leonard, David March, Leigh Ann Singley and Jennifer Tam.
The LEED professional certificate recognizes individuals with extensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles as well as a familiarity with LEED requirements, resources and processes. LEED is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings.
