Sonitrol Pacific Catches Juveniles Inside School
Tacoma, WA, August 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- A detection by the Sonitrol Pacific security system at a Washington high school led to the apprehension of two juveniles July 24.
Operator Ashley Sutton received an activation from a sensor in a stairwell at the school and quickly called the district’s security guard service to investigate.
Security guards found two seven-year-old children running around inside the school. The two were detained, confessed to their actions and were released to their parents.
Since 1978, Sonitrol Pacific detections have led to the arrest of more than 5,140 suspected criminals. The unique audio sensor security technology provides more complete coverage than traditional motion sensors and door contact sensors. The Sonitrol Pacific team designs, installs, monitors and services security systems for the earliest possible detection of criminal activity. This allows police to arrive on scene sooner and take more criminals off the streets.
