A New Kind of Revenue Assurance Event: GRAPA Pilots Revenue Assurance Un-Conferences for Cape Town, Dubai and Las Vegas 2009
Un-Conferences/GRAPA User Groups (GUGĀ©) being piloted in Cape Town 19-23 Oct, Dubai 12-17 Nov and Las Vegas 7-12 Dec.
Chicago, IL, August 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- With a membership crying out for change and the chance to attend a New Kind of Revenue Assurance Event, the Global Revenue Assurance Professional Association (GRAPA) is piloting a series of GRAPA User Groups (GUG©) prior to their official launch in 2010.
“For too long our members have asked us to put on a genuine revenue assurance event where real RA professionals from telcos across a continent could get together, network and exchange the latest techniques and best practices. GRAPA wants to hold an event of pure substance where the focus is only on revenue assurance and nothing else, and where there will be no distractions from the hard work of mapping out our discipline’s future” said Rob Mattison, GRAPA’s President.
“We want a true meeting of carrier-based RA Professionals – organized by the professionals themselves and for their benefit. These are the people who deal with revenue assurance issues day in and day out, and who want to come to an event where they can really discuss their needs and help others find solutions. We believe that by exchanging information and practical expertise with others across a given region, GRAPA’s members can finally fulfill their vision of a self-sustaining community of experts pushing revenue assurance forward” said Louis Khor, GRAPA’s Director of Research and Industry Analysis.
New GRAPA members will have the option of certifying as Associates of Revenue Assurance by attending the GRAPA User Group.
At the same time, by attending the GRAPA User Group as well as the training activities surrounding it, members will have the opportunity to complete a Masters in Revenue Assurance Management (CM-RAM) or Masters in Revenue Assurance Information Technology (CM-RAIT), should they meet the testing and experience verification requirements.
