College Park Rotary Club Honors 14 with Paul Harris Fellow Award

he Rotary Club of College Park honored 14 members of the College Park community and important supporters of Rotary as Paul Harris Fellows on Thursday, July 23, 2009. The Paul Harris Fellowship is named after Paul Harris, one of the three founding members of Rotary. The Fellowship was established in 1957 to express appreciation for monetary contributions of $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation’s humanitarian and educational programs.

The Rotary Club of College Park honored 14 members of the College Park community and important supporters of Rotary as Paul Harris Fellows on Thursday, July 23, 2009. The Paul Harris Fellowship is named after Paul Harris, one of the three founding members of Rotary. The Fellowship was established in 1957 to express appreciation for monetary contributions of $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation’s humanitarian and educational programs. These programs and the money given to support them provide education, food, water, healthcare, immunizations, disaster relief for millions around the world.

The following individuals were recipients of the Paul Harris Fellow symbolizing a combined donation to the Rotary Foundation of $14,000 by College Park Rotarians. Each received a certificate and Paul Harris pin.
