Federal Appraisal Names New Biofuels Valuation Coordinator

Whitehouse Station, NJ, August 12, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Federal Appraisal and Consulting LLC, a national business and real estate appraisal and advisory services firm specializing in power and utilities, announced today the promotion of Kent R. Amarante to the newly created position of Biofuels Valuation Coordinator. As Biofuels Valuation Coordinator, Mr. Amarante will serve as the company’s lead contact with the biofuels (ethanol and biodiesel) development, financing and management community. Now, the renewable energy community will have easy access to world class valuation expertise through a single source, anywhere in the country. This newly created position reflects Federal Appraisal’s ongoing commitment to leadership in the field of renewable energy valuation.

Mr. Amarante holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Rutgers University and has expertise in the valuation of utility-scale ethanol and biodiesel facilities. He is an Accredited Member (AM) of the American Society of Appraisers in the field of Machinery and Technical Specialties and a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser (SCGREA). Mr. Amarante stated: “Federal Appraisal is essentially a one stop valuation shop.
