Leading international car hire brokerage Auto Europe reports a shift in consumer demand from UK reservations to bookings across hot holiday destinations such as the USA, Spain, France, and Portugal, following the Met Office’s summer 2009 forecast revision delivered at the end of July.

“These destinations are perfect for travellers who want to avoid the crowds with an off-peak trip,” continues McAree. “Temperatures are still pleasant, but much more suitable for sightseers or people with very young children.”
