A native of New York, Delany earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY. He has eight years of experience as an electrical contractor and more than 30 years of experience in hospital construction and design. After working with FreemanWhite as a consultant since 1990, Delany joined the firm in 2001. A member of the Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), Delany resides in Cary, N.C.
