MedSource Hires New Vice President of Clinical Operations

Ms. Franks brings more than 20 years of industry experience to MedSource in phase I-IV studies and a therapeutic diversity that includes oncology, virology, CNS, cardiology, and endocrinology.
Over the course of her career, Ms. Franks has held senior level operations positions with leading pharmaceutical companies, as well as both small and large CROs, most recently in the role of VP, Clinical Operations for Trio Clinical Research, LLC and previously as a Senior Director, Project Management at i3 Research.
As the Vice President of Clinical Operations, Ms. Franks will provide strategic and managerial oversight of all clinical operations functions including clinical outsourcing, clinical project management, clinical monitoring, vendor management, and client relationship management and will be responsible for organizing and implementing operational strategies for all development projects within clinical research at MedSource. She will be based at the firm’s Raleigh, North Carolina office.
