LIVE Green and ComposTumbler, both based in Lancaster, PA, will present a series of Compost Workshops to increase community awareness of the benefits of composting to the environment and the community. Experts will be on hand to show home gardeners and green enthusiasts how to turn organic waste into a valuable soil amendment.
Lancaster, PA, August 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- LIVE Green and ComposTumbler have teamed up to present a series of Compost Workshops in an effort to increase community awareness of the benefits of composting to the environment and the community by showing home gardeners and green enthusiasts how to turn organic waste into a valuable soil amendment.
Each workshop will feature a park naturalist and compost expert who will teach the economic and environmental benefits of composting, as well as the basics of making organic compost from yard and food waste. A representative of the ComposTumbler company will be on hand to demonstrate compost creation. The cost of the workshop includes a Back Porch ComposTumbler.
