Georgia’s Largest Provider of Housing for Homeless or Low-income Individuals Affected by HIV/AIDS Announces Series of Related Events to Raise Funds in Support of its Annual Fund Initiative.

· Jerusalem House which provides over 50% of Atlanta, Georgia's permanent supportive housing for homeless and low-income individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS, announced today its tenth annual Halloween Bash to be held at the historic Biltmore Hotel on Friday, October 23rd from 8:00 pm until midnight.

· Carnevale After Dark includes dancing, refreshments, open bar and costume contest.

· Events leading up to the Halloween Bash to further increase awareness of the mission of Jerusalem House and to raise additional funds include an August 22nd Host Committee Recruitment Pool Party at the Morningside home of Jonathan Mildenhall and Mirco Gros, a September 17th Patron Appreciation Party at the Ansley Park home of Randy New and Russell Tippins, an October 8th Fashion Show at Steel Restaurant in Midtown and an October 14th cocktail reception at Alto Rex Terrace Bar at the Hotel Palomar Atlanta-Midtown.

· Jerusalem House is in the midst of its Host Committee enrollment campaign effort for the premiere event. Packages range from $250 to $1,000 and include benefits such General Admission or VIP Tickets to the Halloween Bash and invitations to the annual Patron Appreciation Party & Silent Auction. General admission tickets to the Halloween Bash are $65 and include an open bar with premium cocktails and more. Jerusalem House is Atlanta’s largest provider of permanent housing and supportive services for homeless individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS. Jerusalem House provides over 50% of the permanent supportive housing designated for Atlanta’s homeless and low-income population with HIV/AIDS through an adult program which serves 23 single men and women with AIDS, a family program serving 12 single mothers with HIV/AIDS and their approximately 25 children, the Scattered Site I Program; serving 32 individuals with HIV/AIDS and their family members, regardless of the family composition, in individual apartment units. The newest Jerusalem House program, Scattered Site II, launched July 1, 2009 and will provide 71 new housing units for low-income or homeless families and individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. The combined Scattered Site I and Scattered Site II programs will be the largest program of its kind in the U.S. Scattered Site II will more than triple our master-lease housing capacity and will more than double the size of Jerusalem House, increasing individuals served from 110 to 250.
