N.C. Man Drives to NPB to Trade in Clunker
Car buyer travels from North Carolina to N Palm Beach to trade in Clunker due to Earl Stewart Toyota's No Dealer Fee Policy -- other local car dealers now dropping dealer fees, too, after Stewart challenge.
North Palm Beach, FL, August 16, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Bud Zisson of North Carolina has driven all the way from his home in North Carolina to Earl Stewart Toyota of North Palm Beach to trade in his Pathfinder "clunker" for the Cash for Clunkers program at the dealership. He traveled all this distance to take advantage of Earl Stewart's no dealer fee policy. He will be at the dealership buying a new car today after trading in his clunker and is available for interviews.
Earl Stewart reports that the no dealer fee policy has been a great success for consumers.
Following Earl Stewart's ads featuring an "Open Letter to my Fellow Car Dealers" challenging them to offer fair pricing to customers by following his lead and eliminating the dealer fee (which dealers tack on to the end of a deal after the price has already been negotiated and pass it off as what most customers assume is a government fee or tax, but is really pure dealer profit), two local Toyota dealers have accepted Stewart's challenge and changed their ways and have dropped their dealer fee.
Earl Stewart says this development is good news for local car buyers, because now they can judge prices between dealerships "apple to apple" without the worry of having a high dealer fee added after the deal.
To arrange an interview, contact Margie Yansura, Wordsmith Communications, 561-313-5028 or call Earl Stewart directly on his cell phone at 561-358-1474.
