Blushing Bride in Windsor Colorado, hoping to help those brides in need of wedding attire, after being left empty handed by out of business Mountain Avenue Bridal in Fort Collins Colorado.

Mountain Avenue Bridal and Simply Elegant Event Planning have been in business since 2006 and news that the store closed last week was a surprise to many. At the sight of the note on the door to the Fort Collins business stating that they were closed due to “unforeseen circumstances,” brides are now left distraught, to say the least. Brides spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on the most important piece of clothing they will wear in their lifetime. Budgeting at least 4 to 6 months to receive their gown, once ordered from a store, brides that have weddings scheduled for the fall of this year are simply out of luck. Add to that the hassle of trying to again find complimenting bridesmaids’ attire, a veil, jewelry, shoes, etc. requiring a minimum of 2 to 3 months to arrive back from the designer.

In 2000 Mattie Balliet purchased Bridal Factory Outlet. Under the ownership of Mattie, the store was transformed from Bridal Factory Outlet to Blushing Bride and became a full service bridal salon that offered an array of custom order designers of Wedding Gowns, Bridesmaid Dresses, and Accessories.
Today, the store is owned by Danielle Banfield and is proud to offer designer and off-the-rack Wedding Gowns, Plus Size Gowns, Bridesmaid Dresses, Flower Girl and First Communion Dresses, Prom and Pageant Gowns, Eveningwear, Accessories, Invitations.
Blushing Bride was remodeled in April 2005 and had the outside of the historic building revamped in 2008, and looks forward to growing and changing in an effort to continue to meet the needs of its customers.
