Miss Universe Beauties Find Fun-in-the-Bahamas-Sun

Abaco, Bahamas, The, August 19, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Bahama Beach Club Resort in Treasure Cay, Abaco, Bahamas played host to 20 of the most beautiful women in the world. The girls are all contestants in the upcoming Miss Universe Pageant being held at the Atlantis Resort in nearby Nassau, Bahamas.

Along with the stunning Miss Bahamas, contestants included Miss Albania, Miss Angola, Miss Argentina, Miss Aruba, Miss Australia, Miss Belgium, Miss Bolivia, Miss Brazil, Miss Bulgaria, Miss Italy, Miss Jamaica, Miss Japan, Miss Korea, Miss Kosovo, Miss Lebanon, Miss Malaysia, Miss Mauritius, Miss Mexico and Miss Montenegro. The ladies were treated to a tropical beachfront brunch which included fresh local fruits, breads, cakes and tasty Bahamian smoothies, diet of course.

Treasure Cay has long been famous for its 3 1/2 mile long white sandy beach which is rated "one of the 10 best beaches in the world" by National Geographic. Caribbean Travel & Life readers recently voted the beach: "Best in the Caribbean".

From Bahama Beach Club, the 20 Miss Universe contestants spent the day snorkeling on local coral reefs and also enjoyed a late lunch on a deserted exotic island. When asked, all of the 20 Miss Universe contestants agreed, It's Better in the Bahamas.
