Dawah International, LLC Expands Prisonworld Brand

Prisonworld Productions is born under the Dawah International, LLC umbrella.

Powder Springs, GA, August 19, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Dawah International, LLC, a multimedia company, has expanded its Prisonworld brand to include television productions. Already under the company umbrella is Prisonworld Magazine, Prisonworld Records, Prisonworld Blogtalk and the Prisownorld Acapella Radio Hour. Now the company welcomes Prisonworld Productions to the fold.

Prisonworld is a unique brand that brings curiosity and services the niche market it has attracted very well. “People are always asking us – what is Prisonworld and what made you guys start something like that?” says Jenny Triplett, an executive in the company that wears many hats. “My response is that it is something that is close to home in which we have a passion. For those who follow us and are involved with what we do know there is a deeper story.”

Prisonworld Productions main focus will be documentaries and reality shows. There is a growing market for non-fiction television and to tell real stories. The company already has a few projects in the works but realizes that film and TV production is even harder than print media and don’t expect to see any “greenlights” for maybe a year. “We dream big and in color, so we’re hopeful. Stranger things have happened.” says Jenny.

The Prisonworld Acapella Radio Hour is the fastest growing show on the Artist First Radio Network. The network attracts over 1.2 million monthly listeners globally and allows small companies exposure on a level they could only imagine. Their extremely popular segment, 15 Minutes of FAME, has allowed virtual unknowns the opportunity to sing LIVE on the radio. Prisonworld Magazine is in its third year of printing and offers amazing opportunities for advertisers who “think outside the box.” Prisonworld Blogtalk has been gaining in daily visits since its inception. Many worldly topics are covered in the blog and not just prison news. “Prisonworld brings a curiosity to people. When we first came up with the name, I was too excited because it stuck after we bounced it around a couple of times. We are happy to be expanding into a new form of media. It makes me feel as if all of our hard work and planning is coming into realization. To have a global audience after only three years, that tells me that God is truly amazing.”, says Rufus Triplett, an executive in the company who wears many hats as well.

Prisonworld Records is an Acapella record label. Their first artist, Likely Suspect, has caused quite a buzz in music business circles. They have done several print and radio interviews as well as caught the eyes of the producers of NBC’s America’s Got Talent. They are currently licensing their songs for film and television.
