Putting the Kids Back in the Spotlight

Los Angeles, CA, August 20, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Tige Charity and Kids In the Spotlight, Inc., (KITS) hosts an evening of stand up comedy, music, spoken word and a silent bachelor auction of LA’s most eligible entertainers. A Night of Entertainment will benefit Kids in the Spotlight, Inc., a not for profit organization which trains and develops youth ages 10-17 who are in foster care programs and those who come from lower income families, to create, write and star in their own 10 minute short film for a film festival competition.

Hosted by Writer/Producer T. Faye Griffin, A Night of Entertainment features comedians Ron Gee, Lamont Bonman and veteran actors Reggie Gaskins, Antonio Charity and Starletta DePois. Other performers include comedians- Tyree, Gary Cooper and Shava’sha Dickerson; Jazz singer- Nina; Poet- Tamesha Scott.
