Southwest Florida Businesses Complete Nationally Recognized FastTrac™ Program
Bonita Springs, FL, August 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Small Business Coalition Inc. is pleased to announce that it has graduated 13 Southwest Florida business owners and entrepreneurs from the nationally recognized business growth program, The FastTrac™ Growth Venture.
The 10-week national initiative of the renowned Kauffman Foundation was hosted this summer by the coalition. It culminated with a graduation cerebration on Monday, August 10, 2009 at The Grill Room of Coconut Point Mall in Estero.
The FastTrac™ Growth Venture provides participants an opportunity to focus on improving and growing all aspects of their businesses including., the dissemination of financial information and the creation of affordable marketing plans. In addition, the program offers guidance on ways to bootstrap, plan, and strategize for improved profits and sales growth, which is essential in today’s tough economy.
The summer program was facilitated by Dr. Beth Hagan, a national master facilitator for FastTrac programs. The program was sponsored by Key Bank and BriersCPA.
Hagan says, “This group was one of the most diverse that I have facilitated. There was a wide array of businesses represented in the program. The participation level shows how far-reaching the recession has been, affecting every type of entrepreneur and business in Southwest Florida.”
