The Fountains of West County's New Website Keeps Everything Up-to-Date with Ease Thanks to DotNetNuke
SteadyRain recently launched The Fountains of West County's new website with a fresh, new look for visitors and a user-friendly interface that allows The Fountains employees to quickly and easily edit website content with very little training.
St. Louis, MO, August 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- St. Louis based internet strategy, design and development agency, SteadyRain, recently launched a new website for The Fountains of West County, a senior living facility in Ellisville, Missouri. The Fountains needed a cost-effective way to keep the content of their site fresh and up-to-date. SteadyRain proposed a DotNetNuke (DNN) solution that was able to accommodate their budgetary concerns while offering a cutting-edge, user-friendly Content Management System that fit seamlessly into their plan.
The Fountains of West County is a Senior Living facility with a mission to offer each resident a healthy, active and enriched lifestyle. The Fountains not only features comfortable and spacious rooms for its residents, but a wide variety of activities and amenities such as an indoor pool, theater and salon that are offered with the intent of meeting the needs of all who live there.
Continuing the successful partnership they had already established, SteadyRain and The Fountains of West County began working together to create a new website that took care in finding new and interesting ways to ensure that the website matched the quality of The Fountains itself. Incorporating the Content Management System that The Fountains needed was the first step, but SteadyRain suggested incorporating rotating text and images, as well as a contact form to help enhance the look and functionality of the site.
When all was said and done, The Fountains of West County launched their new website with a fresh, new look for visitors and a user-friendly interface that allows The Fountains employees to quickly and easily edit website content with very little training. The new site, which has only been live for a brief time, has already been receiving positive feedback from visitors and seeing encouraging results in its website statistics.
“The new site only went live on July 1 and all of our numbers are up in Google Analytics.” said Beth Huck, Regional Director of Marketing for The Fountains of West County, “The traffic numbers alone are already up 40% from June.”
Other numbers further reflect how considerable the change from the old website has been. A significantly lower Bounce Rate, or percentage of visitors who leave a site immediately after entering it, has been a very positive result as it shows that people are digging deeper into the site. The number of visits coming to The Fountains website from referring sites also increased 16% in July from where it had been averaging for the past six months.
SteadyRain and The Fountains of West County are both very encouraged by what the site has already accomplished and believe that these trends will only continue, advancing both the website and The Fountains of West County itself.
