MVD Communications Partners with Mount Notre Dame High School to Provide New State-of-the-Art Phone System at a Fraction of the Cost
Cincinnati, OH, August 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- As part of its community outreach program, MVD Communications, one of the largest telecommunications providers in the tri-state area, partnered with Mount Notre Dame High School (MNDHS) to deliver a complete communications solution at a fraction of the cost.
“Mount Notre Dame’s current phone system was reaching end of life, and they needed a solution that provided increased functionality and capacity at a low cost,” said Jeff Black, president and CEO of MVD Communications.
MVD and the high school collaborated on the project, which in the end, provided MNDHS with a phone system that will change the way the school communicates. According to Sr. Rita Sturwold, SND, President of Mount Notre Dame High School, “Those who call our school will be pleased with the efficiency with which their calls are handled, and staff will enjoy the many benefits of this 21st century, state-of-the-art system from MVD.”
The new phone system provides voicemail integration for all teachers and administrators, thus allowing them to view and respond to their messages even if they are not at the office. Additionally, through a feature called mobile twinning, callers will be able to reach MNDHS’ key personnel through one single number, rather than having to dial multiple numbers to reach one person.
“Because we are part of this community, it is important for MVD to partner with entities that share our passions. One way we can give back to the community and demonstrate our commitment to technology and higher learning is to help Mount Notre Dame acquire the right phone system for the right budget,” said Black. “MVD donated $34,000 of the cost of the new communications system for the school and also found a way to save on dial tone costs, thus further offsetting the purchase price of the system.”
“Mount Notre Dame High School was so pleased to work with the knowledgeable and professional personnel from MVD Communications. Their sales representatives and technicians analyzed our school’s needs and proposed various components for a new phone system to accommodate our expanding requirements. Additionally, following their recommendations, our school will save more than $200 on our monthly telephone service,” said Sr. Rita.
