Two units were deployed with over twenty units to be deployed gradually throughout the airport.
This rugged Hotel Reservation System based on an attractive contemporary styling is designed with unique challenges which incorporate the guest ease of use and lasting performance. The system consists of an easy to use touch screen, CPU, wired and wireless internet connection, magnetic credit card swipe, a high resolution digital camera and a unique hotel reservation confirmation thermal receipt printer in an all-in-one modern design.
The hotel reservation system offers airline crew, last minute travelers, free individual travelers (FIT) as well as distressed passengers a simple to use self administered system to find nearby hotels and book a room. A simple three step process touch screen software offers travelers selection of hotels, offers them the ability to select the accommodation type and make reservation. The system is designed with simple goal in mind that it should be simpler operate then the widely used self check-in kiosks for airlines at all US airports. Once a reservation is made the selected hotel is immediately notified and all pertinent details are forwarded to the hotel in real time. As the traveler arrives at the hotel the check-in package is handed to the guest making the whole process seamless.
ASI was able to develop and deploy the system by leveraging expertise from its comprehensive hotel reservations software technology developed for its flagship hotel software.
